Primary school is coming to Handprints.
Handprints Primary opens in September 2027: Years 1 to 4, in English, continuing the approach our families know from Kindergarten into the primary school years.

One school
From 18 Months to Age 10
Handprints families have always faced a goodbye at six, when Kindergarten ends and primary school begins somewhere else. Primary removes it. Children continue in the same building, with the same approach, through Years 1 to 4: play-informed, child-centered teaching, now applied to reading chapter books, writing real texts, and thinking like young scientists.
Primary is built first for Handprints graduates, and it welcomes new Year 1 families joining the school directly.

Small by Design
Small classes, in English, with the familiar rhythm of the house: our own kitchen downstairs, the gym, the garden, and the library all stay part of the day.
The path
Both Doors Stay Open
English-language education with Slovak continuing daily, so families can still choose the Slovak system or international schools after Year 4.

03September 2027
Handprints Primary opens with its first Year 1 cohort, continuing from our 2026/27 Kindergarten class.
The children who started here at eighteen months will not have to leave at six. The school simply grows with them.
